What is a vehicle service contract?+
A vehicle service contract is a separate agreement that may pay for certain repairs under its written terms. Often marketed as an “extended warranty,” it is distinct from a manufacturer's original warranty. Covered parts, exclusions and claim procedures vary by contract.
What could a protection plan cover?+
Depending on the contract, coverage may include named mechanical or electrical components. Routine maintenance, wear items and pre-existing issues may be excluded. Apex's final coverage details are not yet available; review the actual agreement before purchasing.
How much will coverage cost?+
Pricing is not yet available. Vehicle age, mileage, coverage level, deductible and contract length can all affect pricing. A vehicle-specific quote should explain the total price and any payment terms.
Can I use my own repair shop?+
Repair facility requirements depend on the agreement and administrator. Check the contract for eligible shops, diagnostic requirements and prior authorization procedures before having repair work performed.
